We’re feeling Al Gore. After getting vic’d for the presidency you’d think there’s no greater dissapointment life’s shit storm would hurl at him. Well now they’re moving to yank his statues. We spoke with Al at the LA premiere of his Oscar winning flick when he assured us he would never, ever run for president again. We chatted about his White House comedy writer , his favorites on American Idol, then the Legman asked “what’s this film going to accomplish that you couldn’t do over eight years as the SECOND MOST POWERFUL MAN ON THE PLANET?” He stepped back-someone handed him a towel to wipe his brow- then underwhelmed us with his retort, a Film 101 lecture of sorts, “Film has the power to engage a broad audience and create change…..” At any rate, we wish him the strength to endure.
